Maya Abdominal Massage

The Arvigo Massage Technique is based on the Maya Abdominal Massage, an alternative treatment that has been known and practiced by healers and midwives for thousands of years, yet forgotten or suppressed in this century.

It is an external, non-invasive manipulation which repositions abdominal and reproductive organs. Abdominal and reproductive displacement causes most of our common female and male complaints as well as a wide group of seemingly unrelated ailments. This treatment improves the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and Qi, removing blockages that are the cause of multiple physical and emotional symptoms.

Some symptoms of a wandering (displaced) uterus are:
  • Painful or irregular periods

  • Headache or migraine with periods

  • Varicose veins of the legs and hemorrhoids

  • Tired, weak legs and low backache

  • Endometriosis, polyps and fibroids

  • Bladder infections

  • Fertility problems and chronic miscarriages

  • Difficult pregnancy

  • Constipation

By shifting the uterus and abdominal organs and structures back into the natural place, the pelvic area enjoys balance again. Toxins are flushed and nutrients are restored. This is essential to ensure health and vitality during the many stages of a woman's life. Old adhesions from invasive treatments or from chronic inflammation, including fibroid tumors and endometriosis are diminished when treated with Maya Abdominal Massage. In addition, digestion, bowel and bladder imbalances and secondary symptoms like headaches, are assisted towards health as well.

Other symptoms related to males and females are:
  • Varicose veins of the legs and hemorrhoids
  • Tired, weak, numb legs or sore heels when walking
  • Low backache
  • Diminished libido
  • Excess of urination or incontinence
  • Indigestion, constipation and/or bad breath
  • Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Migraines
  • Depression, anxiety, mood imbalances
